Music
Classical Music is introduced to them to awaken their interest and teach them the benefits of it over the course of their lives. Classical music promotes relaxation, develops self-control in relation to feelings and help to stimulate their cognitive development. Classical Music inspires a personal excellence that leads to greater achievement and success in life.
Vision Books
The students are presented with the idea behind a vision book. We discuss what goals are and some examples of pictures that might belong in a vision book. The pictures in the vision book should reflect their life goals; who they want to become, where they want to live and what they want to have in their life. This is a great activity that promotes visual art and the ability to plan out the future of their lives.
